Made in 18K yellow gold, this antique ring is set with a natural Ruby and flanked by an Old European-cut Diamond on either side. It has a pierced, peekaboo element across the centre of the band, which, please note, is not original to the design of the ring. It would have been an update that its previous owner had a jeweller undertake. This piercing eats only slightly into the original hallmarks of the ring; these hallmarks indicate that it was assayed in Birmingham, UK, in the year 1886.
