





1880s Glashutte 18k Pocket Watch With Hunter Case, Regiment of the Gardes du Corps
This watch was gifted to a Koenigl Lieutenant Friedrich Mueller, in commemoration of 47 years of service with the 1st Garde-Dragoner-Regiment - an extremely prestigious and elite cavalry regiment in the Prussian Guard Cavalry Division of the Prussian Army. He retired on October 10th, 1882.
The front of watch is engraved with the following inscription:
"Das Offiizier Corps Des I Garde Dragoner Regiments" with the military crest featured in the centre.
The back of the watch is engraved with the following personal inscription in German:
"Dem Koenigl : Lieutenant Friedrich Mueller bei seinem Ausscheinden nach 47 jaehriger Dienstzeit am 10 October 1882".
