'Omega' 1968 18k Yellow Gold Constellation 168.019 Watch
7""In 1964, Omega asked a rising designer, Gérald Genta, to modernize its flagship. The result: the Constellation “C-Shape,” with continuous flanks forming a C, highly legible dials, and matched or integrated bracelets—a more architectural, contemporary vision of the precision watch. References 168.017/019 and their siblings became the emblems of this era, while the Pie-Pan continued in parallel. The Constellation proved it could absorb the spirit of the sixties without betraying its chronometer vocation." - Mostra
This watch has been serviced in December of 2020, and again in July of 2023. There is an engraving on the back of the watch that reads "To Stan - All our love, Luba & Family" "With sincere gratitude - Christmas 1970".
