Scandinavian jewellery has long been considered the height of modernist design, and this stunning necklace is proof of that legacy. Made in 19.9 grams of solid 14K gold, nice and hefty, this necklace boasts hallmarks for Helsinki, Finland, 1964. The gold is of a subtle rosy hue, as is common for Finnish gold, and designed with a articulated bar link chain and dramatic dropped pendant. This central pendant element is set with many deeply-hued orange-coloured Citrine stones, and is an excellent example of the Art Nouveau revival style the Scandinavians were exploring in the 1960s.
