Yard O Lette pencils were the half length version of the standard pencil manufactured by Yard O Led (founded in 1934). This particular line of pencils were only manufactured for 10 years from 1940-1950. Their solid gold pieces are incredibly rare, as most of the pencils were produced in a rolled gold, or in sterling silver to be more economical. The company still exists to this day, with only six experts working on their team. They are based out of Birmingham, England.
