This beautiful antique piece is an iconic late Victorian-or-early Edwardian enamel Pansy. This particular pansy is finely painted with the most masterful, richly-hued enamel and set with two natural old-cut diamonds. It is what we would call a "convertible" piece: it is finished with both a bale AND a pin, so that you could wear it as either a pendant or a brooch.
