The Edwardian era is defined by the reign of King Edward VII and is the final jewellery period in our history that was named after a ruling monarch. This period was filled with glittering parties and splendor before the First World War changed the world- and Jewellery along with it.
This era is known for truly exquisite and exceptional fine jewellery, strongly influenced by King Edward’s love of luxury, equestrian pieces and collar-style necklaces modelled after Alexandra’s iconic look. The Edwardian era was also known to the rest of Europe as “La Belle Epoque", meaning, "The Good Times".
